    • Principles of surveying, leveling, theodolite, GPS, GIS, remote sensing.

  3. Strength of Materials (Solid Mechanics)

    • Stress-strain, bending moment, shear force, torsion, deflection of beams.

  4. Fluid Mechanics

    • Properties of fluids, Bernoulli’s theorem, flow measurement, pipe flow.

  5. Building Materials & Construction Technology

    • Cement, concrete, bricks, steel, construction methods.

  6. Engineering Geology

    • Earth’s structure, rocks, minerals, landslides, geological investigations.


Semester 4

  1. Structural Analysis-I

    • Analysis of determinate & indeterminate structures, influence lines.

  2. Concrete Technology

    • Cement properties, mix design, admixtures, durability of concrete.

  3. Transportation Engineering-I (Highway Engineering)

    • Road materials, geometric design, pavement design, traffic engineering.

  4. Hydraulics & Hydraulic Machines

    • Open channel flow, turbines, pumps, hydraulic systems.

  5. Environmental Engineering-I (Water Supply & Treatment)

    • Water demand, treatment processes, distribution systems.
